A life rooted in faith, family, growth, and purpose.
I’m a mother of seven, “Mammy” to 33 delightful grandchildren, a longtime home educator, and a woman who has learned that even the most difficult seasons can become fertile ground for something beautiful.
“I believe God created each of us with gifts, light, and a meaningful purpose—and that He can help us keep learning, growing, and becoming.”
My story
Growth has rarely followed a straight line.
My life has included motherhood, home education, holistic healing, herbal learning, spiritual discovery, unexpected change, loss, rebuilding, and many new beginnings. Through each season, I have learned to look for God’s hand, listen for inspired direction, and trust that a life can flourish again even after it has been deeply uprooted.
As a Christ-centered life mentor, I welcome women of different faith backgrounds who want to understand themselves more deeply, recognize their gifts, strengthen their relationship with God, and move forward with greater faith, clarity, confidence, and vitality.
My work brings together the parts of life that have mattered most to me: faith, family relationships, generational stories, holistic well-being, medicinal herbs, practical learning, gardens, and our responsibility to use our gifts to bless others.
FAITH
Grounded with faith in Jesus Christ
Faith gives me the steady center from which I learn, serve, rebuild, and help others recognize the light God has placed within them.
FAMILY
Teaching across generations
As a mother, grandmother, and longtime home educator, I value learning that strengthens not only one person, but children, grandchildren, and generations to come.
GROWTH
Becoming through every season
We may be planting, blooming, rebuilding, and harvesting in different parts of our lives—and every faithful season has value.
Why garden seeds?
Because a seed is a promise—and an invitation to participate in the miracle.
Garden seeds have been part of my work since 2013. I have grown, harvested, cleaned, sorted, packaged, sold, and shipped garden and herb seeds, while also organizing community group buys that helped families receive generous collections of heirloom, non-GMO seeds at affordable prices.
Seeds are small, but what they represent is enormous. A seed can become nourishment, medicine, beauty, confidence, knowledge, and greater family self-reliance. It can invite a child to wonder, give a mother a practical way to prepare, or help a young entrepreneur discover that capable hands and a willing heart can create something valuable.
Through my work with food forests, perennial plants, medicinal herbs, and annual gardens, I have seen how learning to grow even one thing can change the way a person sees herself. She is no longer only a consumer. She becomes a grower, a steward, a teacher, and someone who can share abundance with others.
From seeds to business opportunities
Helping mothers and youth grow more than gardens.
The Savvy Seed Mama and Savvy Seedpreneurs programs grew naturally from this mission. They use garden seeds as the beginning point for learning responsibility, communication, service, entrepreneurship, and the joy of helping other families grow.
These programs are offered through Zesty Life Services because practical growth and personal growth belong together. When people recognize their abilities and use them in service, they develop confidence that can reach into every part of life.
There is still more within you waiting to take root.
Whether you come for mentoring, spiritual reflection, practical classes, herbal learning, permaculture, or one of our garden-seed business programs, I hope you leave feeling more connected to God, more confident in your gifts, and more hopeful about what can grow next.
